You are kindly invited to the WSAVA 2023 Opening Ceremony and the Official Welcome Reception.
Join us for the official opening of our 2023 Congress Edition, followed by a traditional Portuguese Fado music performance by Fábia Rebordão. Finally, for a surprise ending – find out what a tambourine, a flag pole, and 18th-century garments have to do with being a Vet Student in Portugal.
To end the evening, enjoy a reception in a relaxed environment with your friends and colleagues.

The Tejo Pawrty

We are pleased to invite you to our WSAVA 2023 Tejo Pawrty.
Experience Portuguese cuisine and local drinks, and dance the night away under the accompaniment of the DJ’s carefully selected party playlist.
Plus, at the start of the night, you will be able to enjoy a special live performance entitled “Portuguese Sea”.
The privileged location of SUD HALL provides the perfect setting for a choreography inspired by one of the most important Portuguese poets – Fernando Pessoa and his poem: Portuguese Sea. Dancers will perform various dances with themes and clothes inspired by the sea and singers will interpret the popular Portuguese songs “Mar Salgado” – Salt Sea, and “Amor a Portugal” – Love of Portugal.
